VCam supports many kinds of text overlay, with many kinds of animation type (move in, move out and scroll, etc.).
You can easily add a text overlay by selecting one effect from the effects list (text overlay will "Move in"), click on [None] or blank area to "Move out".
Four special text overlay effects:
They can be used when you're playing your webcam (from [Device] page), and the text will be put on your face and move following your face.
You can change overlay text, font and color easily.
[Shadow effect]: it will add shadow when text background is not image (first 5 effects), otherwise it will use gradient-color text effect (from text color to back color)
You can drag & drop the text object in the video preview window to change its position.
Tips:
| • | Press left [Ctrl] key to make text left aligned, and right [Ctrl] to make it right aligned, which is center aligned by default; |
| • | Special strings: |
{date} will be replaced with current date;
{time} will be replaced with current time;
| • | You can add your own text effects to VCam by researching and editing the file "titles.xml" under [title] folder. |
